Alcohol-free blood orange elderflower spritzer

Alcohol-free blood orange elderflower spritzer

Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

Ok without being silly, this is really one of the tastiest mocktails I've ever drunk! After a dry January I decided to stick to it for another month because I registered for a running competition and I want to start as fresh as possible. In Vienna I drank a spritzer on the terrace with alcohol, but we make this spritzer without. The season of the blood orange has arrived and we are going to use it. (If the season is over, make it with fresh regular orange juice).

I like the alcohol-free drinking so far, and with these kind of fine mocktails it's not a punishment at all! If this alcohol-free blood orange elderflower spritzer was served in the catering industry, I would definitely order it.

In this recipe we make a delicious non-alcoholic spritzer with seasonal fruits, including blood orange and tangerines. These fruits provide a fresh and refreshing taste. But what to do if they are no longer available out of season? No problem! You can then always switch to other citrus fruits, such as the regular orange, minneola or grapefruit. Although the taste will be slightly different from the original recipe, I still advise you to try it out.

When making this spritzer you don't have to follow the exact amounts in the recipe. You can always adjust the quantities a bit to your own taste. The idea is to enjoy the drink, not to be limited by strict rules.

That's why I highly recommend you try this non-alcoholic blood orange elderflower spritzer. It is a perfect drink for a hot day and the refreshing taste will certainly not disappoint you. So what are you waiting for? Make this spritzer today and enjoy the delicious, refreshing drink!
