As is often said, inspiration for recipes comes from everywhere. This also applies to fellow foodies on the various social media. I was watching some videos on Instagram and suddenly a delicious crumble recipe came by. And I had exactly all the ingredients at home. So that's how I got started right away. Sometimes it's that easy too! The recipe idea comes from Anne van Annabellas.nl . This lady bakes to her heart's content and has a website full of sweet treats. healthy red fruit apple crumble almond flour

Delicious with fresh forest fruits.

I have adapted her recipe here and there with just a few different ingredients. And so within fifteen minutes I had this almond flour crumble with forest fruits on the table. Well, first, of course, take some pictures of it as befits a good food blogger. It is also very tasty cold.

Almond flour is gluten-free, so handy if you don't like gluten.

So for this crumble recipe I used those boxes of fruit from the supermarket. All flavors are standard in the freezer. I use them for my smoothies, in crumbles, with yogurt and all kinds of other options. The almond flour comes from KoRo. This is a webshop where you can buy everything in bulk. Cheaper and convenient to have a lot of in stock. Almond flour is nothing more and no less than ground blanched almonds. It is gluten-free, but beware not necessarily much healthier than flour. Because here too it applies that eating too much of it is not healthy either. Instead of regular sugar like Anne's I used coconut blossom sugar. This gives a kind of caramel flavor to your crumble grains in this almond flour crumble with forest fruits.

You can use the fruit boxes from the freezer for this.

Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the dish below.
