Appetizer snack of stewed pear with gorgonzola
I found the idea for this snack via Pinterest. I saw a photo of the snack and looked at the recipe, which is originally from Delhaize in Belgium. A creative idea immediately started to form for me, because I could give it a unique twist. I decided to add my own twist to the recipe, which would make the snack taste even better and look even more festive. I impressed my guests at the next party with my personalized version of this snack.
As I mentioned before, I have adapted the original recipe by replacing the canned pears in syrup with deliciously spicy stewed pears that are full of flavour. I have also added a little cranberry sauce, which gives a nice sweet addition to the saltiness of the pancetta and the spiciness of the green mould of the gorgonzola, giving it a perfectly balanced taste experience. The result is a dish that is not only visually appealing, but also has an interesting mix of flavours and textures that will surprise you at the table.
This flavor combination provides a surprising and inviting culinary experience. So what are you waiting for? Get started and enjoy this delicious dish!
Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the dish below.
