Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

To be honest, I don't even remember exactly what was on my list now. It wasn't because this recipe just "happened" to me. I marinated the salmon and suddenly a completely different idea came into being than was actually intended. I can say that it's not bad at all because these Asian salmon with whole wheat noodles were really great! I've been planning a weekly menu every week for years, but more than once I deviate from it. This can be for various reasons, such as no sense, no time, too little time or I simply forgot to buy an ingredient. Be that as it may, the Asian salmon with whole wheat noodles was a hit.

Delicious marinated salmon with sesame seeds on top.

Asian salmon with whole wheat noodles

Although I regularly deviate from my recipes or my planned list, I can say that making a schedule is advisable. Especially if you live in the countryside and there are simply not that many supermarkets in the region. It quickly becomes a car ride and then you feel disappointed if you just forgot to buy something. Nevertheless, I always have some extra vegetables in stock that are not necessarily on the list so that you can swerve if the day goes differently than you thought.

I opted for slightly healthier whole-wheat noodles.

Tip from me: so make sure you have a well-stocked pantry. And with that I am not saying that you have to be filled to the brim, but the right products such as noodles, rice, tomato sauce, pasta, herbs, cornstarch, etc etc. Then you can swerve and quickly put something delicious on the table like this Asian salmon with whole wheat noodles when your schedule goes awry for whatever reason.

Add lots of veggies and enjoy!

Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the dish below.

You need:

Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon - to slice
  • 1 rode Red pepper
  • 5 green asparagus
  • 6 small canned corn on the cob
  • 1 tin can edamame beans
  • 2 balls whole wheat noodles - conimex

from the pantry:

  • soy sauce
  • soy sauce
  • wok oil
  • chili sauce
  • sesame seeds

Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.

And this is how you make it:

  • Take a bowl and pour in a little wok oil. It has a slightly spicier taste than olive oil. Place the salmon on top. Pour a little soy sauce and soy sauce over the salmon and finally spread with the chili sauce and sprinkle with the sesame seeds. Place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 25 minutes until cooked through.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the noodles. Clean the bell pepper and cut into strips, the corn cobs cut into thirds. Let the beans drain for a while. Cut the green asparagus into pieces.
  • Take the wok and heat it with some wok oil in it. Wok the vegetables on high heat for a few minutes and then deglaze with a dash of soy sauce and a little soy sauce.
  • Cook the noodles in another pan for about 6 minutes, rinse under cold water and add to the wok. Mix the vegetables with the noodles.
  • Place on a plate or in a bowl and garnish with some spring onion.
  • Delicious bites!
