My favorite strength for cocktails is gin. It mixes with many other types of syrup, tonic, soda etc. But we are in the middle of dry January, and for me it can last months! Luckily you can now buy very nice 0,0% spirits. Like this gin that I used here. You can buy it at your supermarket so you don't have to drive out of your way for it. Combined with frozen passion fruit, which you can buy from the freezer and all you have to do is defrost it. And freshly squeezed blood orange juice. They are in season now, and I can recommend you to make use of them! So all in all this blood orange passion fruit gin mocktail recipe is a perfect drink to serve at home on a Saturday night.

Blood orange passion fruit gin mocktail
Of course, if blood oranges are no longer available, you can use regular oranges. Or you can squeeze mandarins and a lime or lemon to give your drink a delicious twist. In principle, all citrus fruits are suitable for squeezing and using in this mocktail, allowing you to create countless combinations that suit your personal taste.

\Think of a mix of grapefruit for a bitter touch or perhaps a dash of lime for extra freshness. The great thing is that with the right proportions and a bit of creativity, you can create your perfect mocktail, regardless of the seasonal availability of blood oranges. Dare to experiment with different proportions and perhaps add some mint or ginger for an extra layer of flavor and a refreshing kick. This creates a unique taste experience that is astonishing, even without alcohol.
