There are those things that, as far as I'm concerned, cannot be missing during a BBQ. A nice piece of meat of course, but also tasty side dishes. This buttery corn on the cob from the BBQ is certainly one of them. I have been making BBQ corn for years and without exception they always go up. Of course I cut the cobs into manageable pieces because a whole corn cob might be a bit much. Have fun making this corn on the cob bbq recipe.
You can also give the corn a different taste by varying the spices, but the basic principle remains the same. Are these corn on the cob wrapped in foil very healthy? Perhaps not, but a corn on the cob from the BBQ is very tasty!

Of course I'm not the only one preparing this recipe! Corn on the cob in aluminum foil from the bbq has been prepared in so many different ways for years. For example, you can season them with butter, salt, pepper, paprika or garlic.
Or you can top them with mayonnaise, lime juice, chili powder and cheese for a Mexican twist. Or you can serve them with a tasty dipping sauce of your choice. However you make them, corn cobs in aluminum foil from the bbq are always a success!

I don't want to call myself a real BBQ hero, but nothing can go wrong with this recipe for buttery soft corn on the cob from the BBQ. It's a very simple recipe, all you have to do is boil the corn cobs and then grill them on the BBQ. My daughter loves it too. She likes the corn so much that she can sometimes eat two. If you want to make it a little healthier, leave out the extra butter because it makes it very tasty but also a bit fatter. You can also use some herb butter or garlic butter for an extra flavour. Or you can sprinkle the corn with some cheese or chili powder for a spicy twist. Anyway, this buttery soft corn on the cob from the BBQ is highly recommended!
Of course you can give the corn on the cob in aluminum foil even more flavor by serving them with a tasty sauce, or sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on top and let it melt nicely.

Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the dish below.

- 2 corn on the cob
- 50 gram butter
- olive oil
- 2 el Persillade spice mix
Herbs and spices
- freshly ground pepper
- sea salt
Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.
And this is how you make it:
- Boil or steam the cobs for about 20 minutes. As a result, they are actually already cooked, but the "magic" naturally happens on the BBQ.
- Tear off a few sheets of aluminum foil from the roll. I always use two per corn cob.
- Cut the two corn cobs in the middle after boiling or steaming. Place both halves on the aluminum foil and pour over a little olive oil. Sprinkle all over with sea salt and the herbs. Place 25 grams of butter on top and fold into a package. Repeat with the other corn cob.
- Place the packages on the BBQ, pay attention not directly above the coals, but on indirect heat otherwise they will burn in the package.
- After 20/30 minutes, take them off and insert skewers so you can eat them easily.
- Delicious bites!

Very tasty, I had about 5 minutes flask of the AH. Not pre-cooked, only half an hour indirectly.
Delicious with that spiced butter. Standard with every BBQ with us.
