Bramble cocktail with gin

Bramble cocktail with gin

Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

Friday! Time for a nice cocktail and this time we're making a summery bramble cocktail with gin. Now you may be thinking what is a bramble again? Well, that comes from English, blackberry bushes are called “brambels” there. Coincidence does not exist, but this drink also has its origin in London. It was first created there in 1984 by Dick Bradsell. This cocktail is sweet because of the crème de cassis, and my addition of sweet pink tonic makes it a nice “fizzy” drink. Let that free-mi-bo begin and cheers to the weekend I'd say.

This bramble recipe is slightly different from the original because I add tonic. A cocktail that is too strong is not for me. I definitely like to mix and this way we have a nice pink bramble cocktail with gin.

Finish it off with a blackberry on a skewer and a sprig of mint.

By the way, you can just as easily make a virgin version of it if you don't want to drink alcohol. Then you could, for example, add some regular cassis and alcohol-free gin.

Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the dish below.

Shake it up! You also want to make these cocktails or mocktails once.

How about this sweet pineapple mint mojito for example?

Or how about this non-alcoholic Italian lime Negroni?

But this star anise blood orange aquafaba mocktail is also great.
