When autumn sets in, the “salad season” feels a bit over. Still, I think that's a way to easily get a lot of vegetables. A solution is a salad like this, which you can eat lukewarm when you've made it. And then possibly the leftovers cold with your lunch the next day. Of course we make a homemade dressing with this broccoli bacon chicken salad. This time I chose dried sage. I think it fits perfectly with the season. You can also briefly fry fresh leaves in some oil for a crispy effect.
Broccoli bacon chicken salad
While the broccoli and bacon salad is a delicious choice, you can experiment with different ingredients to add a unique twist. For example, try cauliflower instead of broccoli and turkey bacon instead of pork.
These alternatives offer a fresh new taste and make the salad even more versatile. Be adventurous and discover your perfect combination! Experiment and enjoy a delicious meal packed with flavor and fun.
You can also pour a dressing like this over the salad right away. Want to keep your bacon crispy? Then serve it last. If you serve the salad as a main course, you can add delicious baked potatoes. But pasta could also be served with it.
Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the dish below.
