Broccoli salad with old cheese and bacon

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

My husband is having a hard time here at home. Of course I say that with a wink because he likes to eat everything I put on the table. And that's quite an adventure here. Something different almost every day, no recipe comes up twice and he regularly has to eat lukewarm because of the photo. Yes, being a food blogger's husband is quite a task. But this broccoli salad with old cheese also received his approval and so it can go online! A lukewarm winter salad and of course on the table straight away. (And now let's hope for my husband that he will pass by one more time this winter 😉 ).

And this is how you make the Broccoli salad with aged cheese:

-Take the broccoli stalks and cut small florets from the stem and throw them away, then boil or steam them until al dente. Not too long so they are no longer as nice and sturdy.

-Fry the bacon crispy in a frying pan.

- Cut the old cheese into small cubes.

- Chop the red onion.

-If you prefer, you can soak the raisins in some hot water and then drain them before adding them to the salad.

- Grab a small bowl and add all the ingredients for the dressing in it, and beat everything until smooth and set aside. salad recipes

You can also make soup from the trunk, for example, throwing it away is such a shame! but.. your recipe looks great, I'm going to try it. Sometimes I don't say in advance what I'm going to cook, my husband only sees it on his plate….sometimes works fine, then he doesn't have to think too long about whether he likes it or not 😉
