Delicious with that soft burrata and fine Parma ham.

What is Burrata?

Burrata is a creamy Italian cheese that is best known for its irresistibly soft and creamy interior. The outside of burrata resembles mozzarella, but when you cut the cheese open, you will be surprised by the soft, almost liquid center of cream. This makes burrata not only a feast for the eyes, but also for the taste buds.

Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the dish below.

You need:

Whirlpool combi microwave with Crisp function and Crisp plate

Ingredients:

  • 1 Pizza Dough - ready
  • 75 gram grated cheese
  • 1 bowl burrata
  • 4 el Pizza sauce
  • 4 to stick Parma ham
  • 4 leaves fresh basil
  • 1 tl oregano
  • 6 hairdresser apples - or 1 tsp regular capers

Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.

And this is how you make it:

  • Take the pizza dough and cut it into a circle the size of the Crisp plate. Then place it directly on the Crisp plate.
  • Spread the pizza sauce over the dough and sprinkle with the grated cheese. Place the Crisp plate in the combi microwave and set it to the Crisp function. Bake the pizza for 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Scoop the pizza onto a wooden board and place the burrata ball on top, break it open and divide the cheese over the pizza.
  • Top the pizza with the Parma ham, olives, caper apples, oregano, and fresh basil leaves.
  • Delicious bites!
No Crisp plate or oven with that function? Bake the pizza in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
