Ingredients:
- 10 to stick sausage
- 2 ciabattas - bake-off sandwiches
- 3 slices of processed cheese - such as cheddar or smoked cheese
- 3 white onions
- 2 roasted yellow pepper - from jar
Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.
And this is how you make it:
- Preheat your oven to 215 degrees and then bake the ciabattas.
- Cut the onions into thin rings and fry them in the frying pan over low heat until they are nicely browned. The caramelization does take a while, about 20 minutes. Sprinkle the onions with pepper and some salt.
- Remove the yellow peppers from the pot and let them drain for a while, then cut them into small cubes.
- Cut the rolls in the middle and top them with the chorizo first, then put the bell pepper on top, then a layer with the cheese and then the onions. Place the buns in the oven for a while to let the cheese melt and serve immediately.
