Chocolate Chip Cookies made from Chestnut Flour – Healthy & Gluten Free

Are you looking for a healthy alternative to classic chocolate chip cookies? This version with chestnut flour is not only gluten-free, but also super tasty! After purchasing chestnut flour, I was completely hooked! I think it tastes great and you can do a lot with it. In this recipe I use very dark chocolate, namely 85%. Of course, eating too much chocolate is not really healthy for you, but cocoa does have some good properties. For example, cocoa contains a substance that makes you happy. The substance is converted into dopamine in your body, which gives you your feeling of happiness. And strangely enough, there are also a lot of vitamins in it. Some are certainly lost in the processing of chocolate, but if you take the 85%, that is not too bad. I say hooray for the chocolate chip cookies 🙂

And this is how you make the Chocolat chip cookies from chestnut flour:

-Preheat your oven to 180 degrees.

- Take a large bowl and put the measured amounts of flour in it. Then mix in half a bag of baking powder and the cane sugar and stir well.

- On a sturdy cutting board, chop the chocolate bar into very small pieces.

-Then add the egg, the hazelnut puree and the choclat chips to the flour and mix with a wooden spoon, add drops of proof milk and you get a pretty sticky dough.

- Grab your baking grid and place a baking paper on it. Scoop out some dough with a spoon and shape it into a ball on the baking paper. Repeat until all the dough is used up. Leave some space between the cookies because they will expand a bit when they bake in the oven.

- Then put them in the oven for about 15 minutes until they are nicely browned and let them cool on a baking rack.
