Halloween. It is often said that it is a "real" American party, but nothing could be further from the truth. Its origins can be traced back to the Celts. In America, this festival was only really celebrated when the Irish and Scottish immigrants moved in that direction. Over the centuries, many peoples have given their twists and additions to this festival. Now we know it mainly from the hollowed-out pumpkins and children who go "trick or treat" at the door. Well a real treat for yourself is this creepy Eye Halloween dessert that I made especially for this occasion. A delicious Mascarpone dessert with creepy chocolate eyes for the “scare” effect… Mascarpone dessert for Halloween
And this is how you make the Creepy eye Halloween dessert:
-First break the chocolate, if you have the loose pieces then they look just like "eyes". We will draw pupils and red veins on this with Dr Oetker's decorating coloring pens. When they are ready, leave them for a while until use.
-In your food processor or blender, put the strawberries with a little bit of warm water. Blend everything until you have a strawberry sauce. Crumble or grind the Bastogne biscuits into grit.
-In a large bowl, first beat the mascarpone until soft, then add the sugar and cream and whisk it all together. Start on a low speed first and increase when the whipped cream starts to get lumpy.
- Finally, we'll grab the glasses. Fill it to your liking with the cookie crumbs, whipped cream and strawberry sauce. Carefully place the eyes between them with the pupils facing the glass.
