The decorated Easter table of 2020

Estimated reading time: 6 minutes

My dinners here at home are among other things a big reason for my food blogger career. Because long before that started, I made tasty dinners quite regularly and then decorated the entire table. With beautiful crockery, fresh flowers, beautiful tablecloths and fun accessories. But now especially since this career is of lasting nature I also like to inspire you. Because of course I can't invite everyone to my table! Every season has different holidays where you can unpack. An extensive table with the theme of the holiday of that moment. And since Easter is something we like to celebrate with extensive breakfasts, long brunches, or fine dinners with family and friends, I made another beautiful table: The decorated Easter table of 2020! Below are a few nice pictures and then I'll write out what you need.

a cute chick thidden between the plants.

The idea, the beginning of your table.

Of course you have to come up with a theme first. Well that was clear in this case: Easter! And when you think of Easter, I personally think of pastel colors, green grass, Easter eggs, and flowers from a ball such as tulips, grape hyacinths, and hyacinths. But don't forget Easter bunnies, chicks and beautiful crockery. The surface is the first thing you start with. Do you choose to cover your table with a cloth? What color will the background be on which you are going to embroider? I found a roll of fake grass at the Action.

And luckily also exactly the size of our table. If not, you can easily cut it to size. Because it is of course a large area of green, I thought it would certainly be nice to put two table runners over the table. In a beautiful soft yellow color with golden stripes on it.

The decorated Easter table of 2020: Choosing the crockery

Because of my passion for cooking, food blogging and just a slight passion for collecting, I own a rather extensive amount of tableware. Of course you could look at what you have in your closet and add to it if necessary. A nice white bottom plate can certainly be used very well. A nice and cheap address is often the second-hand shop. Sometimes you can buy beautiful sets here for next to nothing, and if you get really tired of it you can also bring it back here for the next one.

How much does a table like this cost?

As far as the costs are concerned, that differs greatly per table, what do you already have at home? What should you buy, what can you possibly get from your garden? I didn't have that much Easter decoration at home yet, so this year I had to invest a little more, this table cost me around 75 euros with the flowers. Is that a lot? If I make an extensive table like this, it will also be in the house for a few weeks. So worth it in my opinion! (And next year I will already have a large part at home)

A table like this often stays in the room for a few weeks.
An egg is part of it, so nice egg holders too!
