And this is how you make the cake:

-First we start with the ganache for the cake. (That is a kind of chocolate butter that you spread over the cake to stick all the figures and gingerbread cookies on.)

Then take a large bowl and break 200 grams of dark chocolate and 150 grams of milk chocolate into pieces in the bowl. In a saucepan, heat the whipping cream to boiling point. Then pour it into the chocolate chunks and let it melt while stirring. Stir the whole into a soft chocolate mass. Then you take a mixer and beat it to a fairly firm mass. Then set it aside and let it set at room temperature. santa claus recipes

Preheat your oven to 175 degrees

-Meanwhile, take a large bowl and sift the flour, cocoa powder and salt into it.

Take another pan and add the caster sugar, 100 grams of dark chocolate, and 100 ml of boiling water. Add the can of condensed milk and stir over a low heat until you have a nice smooth mass.

-Line the bottom of your springform pan (diameter 20 cm) with baking paper and butter the edge.

-Now take the bowl with the flour and pour in the even chocolate mass and mix until smooth. Pour this into your springform pan and place in the oven for 55 minutes.

- When the cake is cooked, take it out of the oven and let it cool for 30 minutes with the edge around it. Then remove the rim and let it cool for another hour.

-You can first cut the cake in the middle and cover both halves with the ganache. But that is not necessary. Use a spatula to cover the entire cake with a nice layer and then pack the sprinkles on top. santa claus recipes
