A wonderfully soft protein fluff

Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

There we were last week: snowed in. I'm a huge snow fan, it can't be crazy enough for me. Normally we take the weather forecast with a grain of salt. But as the week progressed, harsh winter weather seemed to be on its way. Delicious! The snowflakes kept falling: trains disrupted, packages delayed, groceries canceled and take away stopped. Then it suddenly comes to your pantry. Because really safe shopping was not possible. Mine is always well filled and as a bonus I give you the recipe for a deliciously soft protein fluff! Micellar protein fluff recipe Casein

Micellar Casein protein fluff recipe

Winter weather and stock up quickly…

When the winter weather really seemed to set in, I decided to make some culinary preparations. Ingredients for pea soup, chili and hot chocolate with whipped cream were brought into the house. Saturday evening a white blanket slowly came over the Achterhoek landscape. What a beautiful view, just like it's Christmas. Unprecedented here in the Netherlands, Instagram flooded with white-filled family photos. In good spirits I had taken all my ski clothes from the attic to go on a nice winter trip with Vive and Maison. We were looking forward to it. The children were less happy with the cold and the snow.

Then a little while…. what is that micellar casein?

Micellar Casein is distinguished by the balanced release of slow proteins. Proteins support stronger muscles, maintenance of muscle mass and recovery. Micellar Casein is instant and immediately soluble in virtually any liquid. Water, milk, fruit juice or your favorite drink, it doesn't matter. Micellar Casein is completely free of lumps and dissolves perfectly.

This way you can also make beautiful fluffs with it. You buy it at the health store or online. It is also often used by athletes who demand a lot from their muscles.

Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.

And this is how you make it:

  • Grind the frozen fruit with the ice cubes in the blender or food processor into very small fibers.
  • Add the micellar and almond milk and let it run for 3-5 minutes. You already have a very nice airy mass.
  • Do you really want to go for lightness? Then spoon the mixture into a bowl and let the hand mixer run for another 3-5 minutes.
  • Scoop into bowls.
  • Delicious bites!
