I just wrote that this is an 18+ drink, you can also serve it very easy virgin. This espresso martini cocktail can be served caffeine-free and alcohol-free. Then just choose the 0.0% version of the spirits. These are now available at many liquor stores. There are now quite a few versions to be found, one uses Kahlúa and the other TiaMaria. The original recipe is: 43 ml vodka, 21 ml hot espresso, 21 ml Kahlúa and 9,5 ml sugar syrup, ice cubes in the shaker and then shake well for that perfect foam layer.

The martini became popular in the 1920s. It took on its most recognizable form in the 1930s, when gin and dry vermouth were combined in a 3:1 ratio. Over the years, the amount of vermouth has become less and less. A dry martini is made with little or no vermouth.

Some tips I can give you for shaking cocktails and mocktails like this espresso martini cocktail:

  • Make sure you have a basic set for cocktail shakes at home. A shaker, a jigger, a strainer. All basic items for the most beautiful cocktails.
  • Put everything ready on your counter, then you can continue in one go when you start shaking and you are ready in no time.
  • Use the right glass with the right cocktail, as it is served in a martini glass.

Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the dish below.
