Easter is coming again and that means that as a food blogger you would like to share some tasty and original Easter recipes with your followers. I must confess that I don't spend much time in the kitchen during Easter. With us it is a tradition to go to a restaurant for brunch with the whole family. Then we can enjoy all kinds of dishes from the buffet and chat with each other. But of course I don't want to disappoint you, so I've been trying out some nice ideas lately. One of my favorites is this phyllo dough salmon package with samphire. It is very easy to make and it also looks festive on your Easter table. Delicious phyllo dough snacks filo pastry salmon snack
And this is how you make the Filo pastry salmon package with samphire:
First preheat your oven to 200 degrees
Thaw the filo dough, if necessary place a damp tea towel on it to ensure that the dough does not dry out.
Take the salmon and cut it into small cubes. Cut the spring onion into rings. Finely chop the samphire and mushrooms. Place all these ingredients in a bowl and season with a little salt and pepper.
Add the melted butter and spread a sheet of filo dough with it. Then scoop two to 3 tablespoons from the bowl onto the dough and carefully fold it into a package. Tie a string around it and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Repeat with the rest of the filo pastry sheets. Finally, spread the outside of the parcels with butter as well.

Place in the oven for about 15 minutes. If the dough is browning too quickly on the edges, lower the temperature to 190/180 degrees. Make sure that the salmon is cooked.
Remove the packets from the oven and serve them nice and warm: Delicious Happen! Of course you can also make these packages at other times than just Easter…. Christmas could also be very good. filo pastry snacks
