Fleur Verloo, 32, lives with her boyfriend Maurice in Steenbergen. She is mom to a cute little guy named Timeau and has a huge passion for wine. A welcome addition here at Delicious Happen. Because as far as Fleur is concerned, good food goes hand in hand with a good glass of wine.
Fleur Verloo is a “catering child”. Raised in her parents' restaurant, from which she had the opportunity to set up her own restaurant. At the age of 21, the time was right and she became co-owner of the restaurant de Etage at the time. This is where her passion for wine originated. Maurice, the wine supplier of the Etage, who is now her boyfriend, took her to Germany on a wine trip in 2016. This is where her love for German wines originated. She herself prefers to drink wines made from the Riesling grape. Because: it is so easy to use, and always tasty. A feinherb by the fire, a trocken in the summer, and a sparkling during parties!
Now, 10 years later, Fleur works for the ConinckWines BV A company that consists of four companies: Trattoria Da Maurizio, Bistro Bij De Coninck, De ConinckWines and The Foodystore. She is responsible for the service and staff for both restaurants. Fleur Verloo takes care of the marketing for all four companies, always goes on wine trips for the ConinckWines and is store manager of The Foodystore: a wine specialist in Bergen op Zoom.
