This is a cocktail recipe that requires a little more patience! We are going to work with very cool ice cubes. For this you need "sphere" globes, special ice cube molds in the shape of a large sphere. We fill the spheres with tonic and flower petals and freeze them in parts. I wanted to freeze the gin first, but I realized that this is not possible due to the high alcohol content! So then the tonic, you lose in this cocktail the "fizz" of the lack of carbon dioxide in the bulb. But you do have the taste of the tonic. And furthermore, we use a little more than just gin for the drink. This flower bomb gin tonic is a true picture on the table and will certainly do very well at parties.
You can start freezing the bulbs a while in advance. This offers the opportunity to start well in advance and you can stock up on these flower bombs, which can be used at any time. In addition, there are many other possibilities to experiment with freezing different shapes.
For example, by adding food coloring to the liquid before freezing, you can not only make fun colored spheres, but transform your creations into true works of art. Add natural extracts for a subtle taste sensation, or use herb infusions to add an extra dimension to your project.
Consider freezing flowers or small fruits in the center for a surprising visual effect. The possibilities are indeed endless and provide an extensive scope for creativity and experimentation. This offers a wide range of applications, from gourmet desserts to unique cocktail garnishes.
