This drink is also one of the “classics”. By the way, the only French thing about this cocktail is the Chambord used to make it. But as is often the case, there are also versions that use crème de Cassis. Chambord is a raspberry liqueur from the Loire Valley of France. Like several classics, this French martini cocktail recipe was first served in New York. But you will certainly also be able to drink it on French soil. Every cocktail-shaking bartender should be able to make this for you.

It is certainly a sweet drink as we use pineapple juice and raspberry liqueur. Also a bit exotic and colorful! With its purple-pink color served in a martini cocktail glass with a raspberry on the side. Some bartenders "muddle" raspberries in the shaker for an extra fruity element. You pour it through a strainer so seeds stay in the shaker.

Shake well, that's often the motto for cocktails like this! Shake until you see an ice layer on the outside of your shaker and then carefully pour into the glass. This French martini cocktail recipe couldn't be missed during my holiday recipe weeks while I'm in France!

Next week another classic that does come from French soil will be online. Enjoy this delicious cocktail!

Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the dish below.
