When it's so hot outside, you want to cool down a bit. That's no problem with this frozen pineapple amaretto cocktail! In addition, it is also made in no time, you just need a blender, preferably a power blender that can “crush” ice cubes well. This cocktail is also great to serve as a dessert. The consistency is a bit like a slushy, but if it is hot it will melt quickly enough in your glass. We use amaretto, and nowadays you also have very good non-alcoholic versions of it. pineapple cocktail recipe

Frozen pineapple amaretto cocktail
Because pineapple and amaretto are quite sweet, we also add some lemon juice to keep it in balance. Because we make it with crushed ice, you could also freeze it again.

Then put some of this cocktail in ice cube trays. Freeze these and take them out at another time. Then you throw them back in the blender and crush them again. Or serve them as ice cubes and add some sparkling water.

We first dip the edge in some water and then we put it through some coconut grater for a tropical effect to your cocktail.
