Frozen tropical fruit mocktail

Frozen tropical fruit mocktail

Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

In recent weeks we have shared many drinks with alcohol, so it's time for an alcohol-free version! This frozen tropical fruit mocktail has a wonderfully fresh taste. That's because we add mint syrup and a few leaves of fresh mint! You can taste that and it tastes very good. All you need is a good blender to properly blend the fruit from the freezer. This mocktail also looks a bit like a slushy, but really a lot tastier.

Nowadays you can buy a lot of fruit that is normally not in the supermarket from the freezer. I always have various types of boxes or bags in my freezer. Ideal for smoothies or mocktails such as this frozen tropical fruit mocktail.

You could also make the mint syrup from scratch, but I had already bought a bottle. Do you make it yourself? Then put a bunch of mint in a pan with 200 ml water, 200 grams of sugar, juice of 2 limes and bring to the boil. Let simmer for 20 minutes and then pass through a fine sieve and let cool. The syrup can be stored for weeks in your refrigerator in a glass bottle.
