Gado Gado is a classic Indonesian dish whose name literally means 'mixed', referring to the diversity of vegetables used. This colorful dish consists of a mix of different types of vegetables, served on a large platter or in a bowl. I previously shared a recipe for this dish. A rich and flavorful peanut sauce completes it and gives it its distinctive taste. In this blog I share a delicious recipe for this Gado Gado sauce.
Of course, you can easily make the peanut sauce, which is indispensable for this dish, Gado Gado yourself with finely ground peanuts in a blender. Add fresh garlic and chili pepper, a fresh touch of lime juice and a little sweet soy sauce to make the taste rich, soft and balanced. The ingredients together form a creamy sauce that will make your meal incredibly better than if you use a ready-made, pre-packaged version where you can hardly determine the exact origin of the ingredients.
Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the dish below.
