Every now and then I surprise my husband with an Asian dish. I myself am not a huge fan of that kitchen because a lot of ginger is used. So I don't like that at all, but to put the whole kitchen aside because of that in something. And so I adjust left and right and make sure that I can enjoy myself. What I am a fan of are those nice thick Japanese Udon noodles. Note that these are already salty, so you have to be a little careful with adding salt to this dish. The verdict that was passed here at home about these fried Udon noodles with beef? It got two thumbs up! udon noodles recipe
And this is how you make the Fried Udon noodles with beef:
We'll start with the marinade first. Take a measuring cup and add all the ingredients for the marinade in it. Beat the whole with a whisk into a sauce.
We cut the steaks into very nice thin slices. Take a bowl and place the slices in it and pour half of the marinade over it. Toss and let stand until use.
Clean the green beans and cut them in half. We also clean the mushrooms and cut them into quarters. And finally cut the onion in half and into strips.
Boil the green beans in a pan of water until they are al dente, then rinse them with cold water. This prevents them from "squeaking" in your mouth.
Baking the dish
Take a large wok and heat it, then add some woklolie and stir fry the onion, after a few minutes add the mushrooms and finally the green beans. Stir fry it for a few minutes. Then it's time to add the noodles. Pour in the other half of the marinade sauce and let it simmer. (not too high)
In a separate frying pan we heat up some wok oil and fry the marinated steak on high heat. Don't fry it all the way through, because then you will end up with a tough piece of meat and nobody likes that.

What a delicious recipe. How many steaks did you use in this recipe? Is that just steak per person? I'm more the person who likes to know the quantities. (☺️) Fri. gr
I used 1 steak per person. We have a family of three people, most recipes are based on that. Have fun cooking.
