Attention BBQ lovers! I have the perfect cocktail for the BBQ! This grilled lemon vodka tonic gets just a little extra flavor from the grilled lemon. And those few lemon slices barely take up any space on your grill, so you can make them in no time. This cocktail is a delicious variation on the well-known gin and tonic. We only use vodka this time. This way you can serve something other than a beer or wine at the BBQ. Making cocktails is not that complicated at all, and the glasses also look great on the table. The nice thing about cocktails is that you can add extra flavor to your cocktail with various spices and fruits. This is also the case with this grilled lemon vodka tonic. In any case, because we grill the lemon, but also the pink peppercorns give flavor. And in this case we also add a piece of star anise. Take a dip in your spice cabinet!
Pink pepper is not really pepper! They are berries from a tree. Not as sharp as real peppercorns. This means that pink pepper often adds a more subtle flavor to dishes. It is regularly used in fish dishes, sauces and salads. The mild spiciness makes it a popular ingredient.
No weather for a BBQ? Then you can also simply grill the lemon in a grill pan, no problem! Want to try other flavors? You can vary the vodka, but also the tonic. For example, try a premium tonic with herbs or a fruity tonic for a fresh twist. Experiment with the ingredients and discover new combinations!
