Easy, fairly quick, and also very tasty? Then make these meatballs with yogurt sauce and fregola. The latter may not seem completely familiar to you. They are the small balls you see in the photo, a kind of pearl couscous but from Sardinia. Actually a paste. We season the meatballs with smoked paprika powder for extra flavor, and you can make it as crazy as you want, from super spicy to deliciously spicy. Meatballs with yogurt sauce
Just like with the meatballs, you can also season the yogurt sauce to your liking. Some people follow a recipe exactly, but I always add a little extra spice. Whatever your heart tells you 😉, my favorite fresh herb is parsley. I always have a bunch of that at home. And green also gives your food that little bit of extra color, and the eye wants something too, right?

Ingredients:
- 350 gram half and half chopped
- 1 ui - XNUMX onion - shredded
- 1 ei
- 3 el bread-crumbs
- 2 tl minced meat seasoning
- 2 tl smoked paprika powder
- 150 ml Greek yoghurt
- 1 lime - squeezed
- 100 gram rut - (fregula Italian couscous)
- 2 el chili oil
- 2 twigs Parsley - chopped
- 1 spring onion - cut into rings
Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.
And this is how you make it:
- Take a bowl and add the minced meat, egg, breadcrumbs, paprika powder, minced meat spices, and onion and knead everything well. Then roll it into balls the size of a golf ball.
- Heat a frying pan and fry the balls in some olive oil until they are done.
- Boil the fregola with some salt and let it drain.
- Mix the yoghurt with the juice of the lime and season with salt, pepper and 1/2 tsp smoked paprika powder.
- Take the plates or bowls and first spoon the yoghurt sauce on top, followed by the fregola and the meatballs. If you like it spicy, add some chili oil. Finish with the parsley and spring onion.
