Making your own frozen yogurt is not only tasty but also a lot of fun! And then also super healthy because we don't use sugar or color numbers, nor e-numbers in this recipe. We're going colored frozen yogurt with fresh fruit to make. How do we get those beautiful colors? Well I got some help with that in the form of Phoenix. The owner Joey Fennema sent me his bags with 100% natural dyes. Green matcha powder, pink pitaya, blue spirulina, and butterfly powder that can even change color. Make your own yogurt ice cream without an ice cream maker.
And if you mix all that together, you can make very nice and surprising ice creams. You are of course used to my colorful smoothies and these ice creams are really just frozen smoothies. So it's super easy to make this frozen yogurt with just a few ingredients, and it's all pure nature.

Colored yogurt ice cream with fresh fruit
Making use of what nature has to offer us and not adding any harmful substances, that is of course great. Ice creams like this obviously taste very different than ice cream from the supermarket. If you look at the main ingredient of many ice creams, sugar is number one.
And often there was no piece of fruit nearby. If you still want to make some sweeter ice cream, you can consider adding honey or agave syrup, for example. So you can make colored frozen yogurt with fresh fruit and enjoy it without feeling bad.

Color powders
And you can make your frozen yogurt even more colorful with the powders from Fenitas. Pink by using pink pitaya. This is also called dragon fruit and is crackling pink when you cut it open. It is the fruit of a cactus and has a slightly sweet taste. And the blue spirulina is made from algae.

A super intense color that you can also mix with other powders to make a whole rainbow of different colors of ice cream. And now enjoy colored yoghurt ice cream with fresh fruit.

Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the dish below.
