So we come to the end of the week and it is time for this week's cocktail. We are moving in an autumnal direction with warmer flavors such as cinnamon, pumpkin spice, ginger and fig. This week we are making a ginger beer fig syrup gin cocktail. We also add gin and this time we don't have to shake it but we can just pour it out.
Ginger beer fig syrup gin cocktail
Ginger is a flavor that you may or may not like. I'm not really crazy about it myself. But if you are a fan of ginger beer, then you should definitely try this one. The fig syrup is an addition but not necessary to make this cocktail. So if you don't feel like it, you can leave it out.
This ginger beer fig syrup gin cocktail can also be made with spirits other than gin. You can also opt for bourbon, or vodka, depending on your personal preference and the flavor you want to achieve. The homemade syrup, which is rich in the unique flavors of figs and offers a subtle sweetness, keeps well in the refrigerator for a while. This means you can definitely use it for other things than just this drink!
Think about adding the syrup to desserts, or as a special flavoring in your favorite cocktails. It offers endless possibilities for creativity in the kitchen, allowing you to surprise friends and family with your mixology skills.
Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the cocktail below. Cheers!
