Stuffed jumbo pasta shells: surprisingly delicious

Estimated reading time: 4 minutes

Pasta comes in all shapes, sizes, colors, and flavors. I often find pasta with simple ingredients very tasty, such as the bolognaise or al olio&aglio. I often choose this when we are on vacation and sit on a terrace and enjoy the sun. These filled jumbo pasta shells also only have a few basic ingredients that combine well together. These filled pasta shells are easy to prepare and this is also a delicious recipe for children. cooking pasta shells

And this is how you make them:

-Preheat your oven to 200 degrees.
-Take a large pan of water with some salt and cook the shells until tender. Check the package for the exact cooking time. Drain and rinse with cold water and set aside.
-In a frying pan stir-fry the spinach until it has wilted, then drain well in a colander and squeeze out the last moisture.

-Then roast the minced meat in the frying pan and add salt and pepper and the Italian herbs, chop the garlic cloves and fry them. Then add the can of diced tomatoes and the spinach. Mix this well and let the moisture evaporate until it is a fairly firm mixture.

Then add the ricotta and mix it with the minced meat mixture.
- Now take the jumbo shells and fill them with a spoon until they are full.
-When they are all full, take an oven dish and grease it with some olive oil. Place the filled shells in it. Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese on top and put the dish in the oven for about 20/25 minutes. (Until the edges of the shells start to brown slightly.)

Grab a few nice plates and first spoon some sauce onto them, then place the jumbo shells on top. Serve with a delicious red wine and focaccia with these filled pasta shells
