After my visit to Marloes van Burgundisch I couldn't leave without one of her famous recipes, stuffed paprika ! Now not everyone lives near Den Bosch to go and eat at Marloes themselves, so I can share the recipe with you here! She gave me the recipe for stuffed peppers from Burgundisch. It is an easy recipe as you are used to from me. So now no hours in the kitchen but nice and quick at the table with a plate full of taste and smell! All you need is an oven, so get started quickly with the stuffed bell peppers from Bij Burgundisch!

For Stuffed peppers from Bij Boergondisch for 2 people you will need:

Stuffed peppers from Bij Burgundisch
  • 2 red peppers
  • 300 grams of veal mince
  • Tex Mex Beef seasoning from The Man with the pan (Marloes' secret ingredient)
  • a big ui
  • 1 can tomatoes cubes
  • 1 can of kidney beans
  • 75 grams old grated cheese
  • fresh jalapenos

And this is how you make Bij Bourgondisch stuffed peppers:

-Preheat your oven to 200 degrees

-First chop the onion and add the veal mince, put this together with the spice mix in an oven dish. Then put it in the oven for 10 minutes. Then take the shell out and pull the meat loose and mix it well again.

-Now add the diced tomatoes and the kidney beans to the mix and mix everything well.

-Then you take the washed peppers and cut them in the middle. Then remove the seeds and fill the bell pepper with the veal/vegetable mix. Sprinkle the old cheese on top.

- Finally, put the peppers in an oven dish again in the oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.

Take the plates and garnish the stuffed peppers with the jalapeños cut into rings. According to Marloes, the more the better…. She likes a spicy bite! Serve with a nice fresh salad: Delicious bites!
