Healthy carrot cake bliss balls
Making a bliss ball recipe is super easy! You just need a food processor. I've been on the web for a while to find out where they come from. After a bit of research it seems that they have their origin during the Second World War. Flour was difficult to supply and people turned to oatmeal flakes. The origin is in Denmark/Sweden. And they got the beautiful name “havregrynskugle”. Small balls consisting of oatmeal flakes, sugar, cocoa, butter and coconut chips.
Carrot cake bliss balls, not necessarily the healthiest treat, have now been given a healthier twist at Heerlijke Happen. These tasty variations are a real treat for lovers of responsible snacks. The big advantage is their long shelf life in the refrigerator, where they stay fresh for at least 1 to 2 weeks. It is also useful that you can freeze them perfectly for later enjoyment, so you always have a healthy snack at hand.
Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the dish below.
