A friend of mine recently asked me if I could think of some more dishes that are suitable for athletes. I actually thought that was a nice idea, but I have to say that I have no training or background as a nutritionist. I've tried different things over time in terms of exercise and nutrition, and I've also seen different results with different strategies and diets. But that doesn't mean that I know exactly what you should or shouldn't eat as an athlete. I have noticed that I lose weight better when I eat less sugar and carbohydrates. I also don't drink alcohol anymore, which I never thought I could do before. But my main goal is now no longer just to get rid of those excess kilos. Above all, I want to feel good in my own body and take on the sporting challenges that I have devised for myself.
And that means I have to change my whole way of life and not just be very hard on myself for a few weeks, and then fall back into old habits once the scale shows the desired number. I want to make a lasting change that is good for my health and my happiness.

A more conscious lifestyle, being busy with healthy food, enjoying sports, looking for challenges to keep it interesting, that's the most important thing for me. And that a slimmer body also seems to be part of that….. that's just a plus!

Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- ½ cucumber
- 1 rode p
- 100 gr fried bacon
- 100 gr cheese cubes
- 1 tin can chickpeas
- crispy soybeans
For the dressing you will need:
- 1 el mayonnaise
- 2 el yoghurt
- 1 el Persillade (spice mix)
- ½ tl chili powder
Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.
And this is how you make it:
- Fry the bacon cubes in the frying pan.
- Boil the eggs in plenty of water in the pan, hard or soft as you wish.
- Cut the cucumber and bell pepper into cubes, the cheese is also fine.
- Drain the chickpeas (you can use the juice to make a chocolate mousse, by the way).
- Mix everything for the dressing in a bowl or bowl and beat with a fork or whisk until smooth.
- Take two plates and divide all the ingredients between these two plates, drizzle the dressing over it and garnish with some crispy soybeans.
