And just like that it was Friday again! Time flies by, and so does the cocktail inspiration for you. Even though my website is called Delicious Happen, these drinks are now also becoming popular. Some cocktails do better than others, but that also applies to edible recipes. Nevertheless, I have a lot of fun inventing and photographing these drinks. Over time you will probably think of my site more and more often when you are looking for a nice drink. Like this pomegranate thyme vodka sour, which you can shake straight from your shaker and which is super tasty! Making sour cocktail vodka

They call this way of shaking a "dry shake". So you first shake without ice and only then with ice. The idea is that during the first shake, all ingredients mix well with each other, and then again to get a perfect foam layer on your cocktail. You pour it through the strainer into your glass and then enjoy.

This cocktail vodka sour with pomegranate and thyme is made with egg white. If you buy fresh eggs, it is no problem to use a raw egg. Are you vegan or do you just not want to use it? Then take a can of chickpeas and remove some liquid from that can. It's called aquafaba and is the vegan version of egg white and foams just as beautifully. Just shake it and everything will be fine.

Serve the cocktail in a nice glass with a few pomegranate seeds and a sprig of thyme to garnish. The fresh, sour of the pomegranate combines perfectly with the creamy of the egg white or aquafaba. It is the perfect cocktail for parties or just an evening on the couch. Add a dash of lemon juice for extra freshness. Cheers!

Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the cocktail below. Cheers!
