Harissa naan pizza with buffalo mozzarella
Uhm Francine what is Harissa? That is a North African hot red sauce that is made by using many different herbs and spices. It looks a bit like chili sauce or sambal. An ideal way to add some extra spice to your naan pizza. I also smeared some tahini on it for a softer counterpart.
Tahini is a type of paste made from ground sesame seeds and is an important ingredient in many traditional dishes, such as hummus and baba ganoush. It is also commonly used as a sauce or spread and has a nutty flavor. Rich in protein, fiber and healthy fats, tahini is considered a healthy and nutritious addition to many dishes.
I love the roasted eggplant flavor. You can taste that very well and it is an essential component in, for example, baba ganoesh and hummus. These are two delicious dips that originally come from Eastern and North African cuisine, but which are now also very popular in our Western kitchen. They are not only tasty, but also healthy and easy to make. And before I hardly ate spicy, now I start adding it slowly and I can have it better! I like to experiment with different herbs and spices that give these dips even more flavor. This is how I keep discovering new combinations that surprise my taste buds.

Ingredients:
- 2 Naan bread - (I use Patak's)
- ½ cucumber
- ¼ rode peper
- p
- root
- Eggplant
- 1 buffalo mozzarella
From the pantry:
- harissa
- tahini
- herbal vinegar
- sweetener
Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.
And this is how you make it:
- I did not specify quantities for the vegetables because I used a number of pieces of leftover vegetables. You can grill these under the grill for ten minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 200 degrees.
- Spread your naan's with some harissa and tahini. Cover with the grilled vegetables and put some pieces of buffalo mozzarella on top. Place in the oven for 10 minutes until the cheese has melted.
- Meanwhile we make the cucumber salad. Take a bowl and put some herb vinegar in it, mix some sweetener (or sugar) with it and then put the cucumber in it and let it soak for a while.
- Remove the naan's from the oven and serve with the cucumber salad.
