Today we get a visit from family, super cozy of course and they also continue to eat. Well with this weather there is a nice stew in it. But anyone who knows me knows that I can't just make one big pan. So we go for a delicious stew buffet. Something for everyone and of course I also serve them with a nice piece of meat. And not just smoked sausage, but also with ham on the bone and crispy bacon. The endive stew gets a nice addition of cheese and tomatoes. Kale stew, stew and endive stew
And this is how you make the delicious stew buffet:
-First take three large pans for the three stews. Of course, first peel all the potatoes that are needed for each dish!
-All stews actually have to be boiled for 20 minutes, the vegetables with the potatoes in one pan. Except for the endive, you only add it after you've mashed the potatoes.
-For the endive stew, cut and chop the cheese and tomatoes into small pieces and add these together with the endive at the end.
-In a frying pan you fry the bacon for the kale until nice and crispy, you add this when you start mashing it.
Finally, serve the stews in a nice rechaud or bowls and let everyone serve themselves. Kale stew, stew and endive stew
Delicious stew buffet
Of course you can serve different types of meat with it according to your own taste, as I did with a delicious ham, a coarse smoked sausage from the Veluwe and finely fried bacon slices. Of course a delicious gravy is essential, as well as a few drops of herb vinegar! That is a tradition that has existed in our family for years and I think it is delicious on kale. A good dollop of mustard is also essential, because that really gives the dish a boost. All in all it was: Delicious bites! Hutspot is a true feast for the taste buds, full of love and taste, and it always brings us closer together as a family during the meal!

sauerkraut
Delicious Christmas Eve stew made with sausage and hash. But delicious sauerkraut is my favorite.
As long as the stews are prepared with bacon fat, it's okay. Not with gravy. Then you might as well mash potatoes and vegetables on your plate. That's not a stew either.
I always have large slices of bacon that are fried.
And bacon stew separately .delicious with sausage brisket and a regular bacon lap that's how it should be
