Delicious apple crumble with vanilla ice cream

A delicious apple crumble recipe is always possible, of course. But around the Holidays we can make it extra special by adding some gingerbread spices. Very little can go wrong with this crumble. And this is how we make the Delicious apple crumble:

-Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

-Then take the apple and peel it, then cut it into small cubes.

- Then take a bowl and put the apple cubes in it, and add the caster sugar and some speculaas spices. (Do this to taste but not too much of course otherwise it will dominate). Mix everything so that the herbs and sugar are nicely around the apple cubes and set aside until use.

-In another bowl, put the granulated sugar with the flour, butter and a pinch of salt and crumble into a crumble dough.

- Finally, take the oven dish and put the apple mix in it first, then spoon the shortcrust pastry on top.

-Place in the oven for about 30 minutes until the top is golden brown and your kitchen smells like cake!

Spoon the crumble from the bowl onto saucers and to really finish it off, you can serve it with a delicious scoop of vanilla ice cream.
