August is of course high season. Most people are on vacation and enjoying the sun. This year more often in our own country than other years, luckily we were still able to go on holiday to France that we had already booked a year earlier! You already saw some of that last time. In this Delicious Happen newsletter August 2020 we also announce a winner of a nice dinner for two at Sugo pizzas.
Normal life starts again
At least for me, working out recipes, cooking and photographing. I was able to get started with it when Jools spent a week in the Ardennes during her outdoor camp. Slowly I start again with my sports activities and that's okay because the holiday kilos weigh a little heavier this year than I would like… So I start again in September in the gym to get myself in shape.
Seafood platter
The best thing about this job is of course the food, as a true Burgundian I can really enjoy a nice meal. It was certainly a nice surprise when Bart from Fishtales asked me if in a seafood platter wanted to test. We won't say no to that, of course. I can heartily recommend it to you.

City trip Vienna
Of course, it has not escaped your notice that it was my birthday and that I celebrated this in Vienna. What a fantastic trip we have had. I wrote a nice blog about it with lots of photos and you can read them Read.

What can we expect for next month?
From experience I know that the food blogger season is slowly coming back to life in September. So there will certainly be requests for great collaborations. Of course I'll start with the fall recipes, and what's next? These remain exciting times so it will still be different from other years.
