Autumn sandwich with goat cheese and pear

Ideal for sitting sheltered in your garden and making yourself a delicious sandwich during lunch time. I made this one autumn toast with goat cheese and pear and boy, was it delicious!

And this is how you make the autumn sandwich with goat cheese and pear:

-First spread the two slices of bread with a nice layer of butter. (on the outside, so these sides will go on the grill later)

- Then peel the pear and cut it into slices with a mandolin, about 2 to 3 mm thick.

- Then first cover the sandwich with a slice of goat cheese, then with some pear slices, then place the fried bacon on top. To finish it off, add some pear and another slice of goat cheese and finally the sandwich measures the butter up on top!

-Turn on the grill and let's grill. If you turn it a quarter turn halfway through, you will also get such a nice checkered pattern.

the nuts

The caramelized nuts are super delicious to serve on the side. This is also really easy: take a frying pan with you. Add the oil and honey and mix well. Add the nuts and make sure they get a layer all over. Put on not too high heat and let them fry slowly until they get a nice brown color.

-Let it cool on a piece of baking paper, and don't put one in your mouth because you burn your tongue….

If you really don't like goat's cheese, just take a piece of brie or another processed cheese that will also work fine. Serve on a nice board.
