We can enjoy a nice piece of meat here at home during a bbq. Our favorites are a nice piece of ribeye and chickens for my daughter. But there is so much more delicious from the BBQ that can also be very fine vegetarian. For example, I regularly make tasty corn on the cob with olive oil, herbs and butter. But also this honey glazed vegetable skewer of the bbq is definitely recommended. The sweet honey on the vegetable skewers gives the vegetables extra flavor, and the BBQ does the rest with its smoky flavour. Of course super easy to make, so with little effort you have a nice side dish with your bbq.

And this is how you make the honey glazed vegetable skewer from the bbq:
Use the vegetables you like. Or choose to empty your vegetable drawer, so this can be a nice zero-waste recipe.
Let's start with the corn on the cob. You boil or steam this before use. I always put them in my steam oven at 20 degrees for 100 minutes. Then they are easy to thread on the skewer.

Cut the rest of the vegetables into pieces and thread them alternately on the skewer. I always use steel skewers, these are easy to clean and you don't have to soak them in water so they don't burn on the bbq.
Light your bbq and make sure it's at the right temperature. Brush the skewers with olive oil and sprinkle with the spice mix.

Grill the vegetables for the vegetable skewers on the BBQ by turning them regularly. Then take them off the heat for a while and brush them all over with some herbal honey. Put them back on the BBQ for a few more minutes
