- 250 gram Sushi rice
- 5 el rice vinegar
- 1 tl salt
- 250 gram smoked salmon
- 1 cucumber
- 1 pack of cream cheese
- 1 jar of sliced carrot

- black sesame seed
- soy sauce
- Sriracha sauce
Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.
And this is how you make it:
- Take a pan and put 350 ml of cold water in it and add the 250 grams of sushi rice. Bring to a boil and then lower the heat. Let it simmer for 10 minutes and then rest for 15 minutes. Do not remove the lid from the pan!
- Heat the rice vinegar with the teaspoon of salt in a pan, let stand until use.
- Cut the cucumber in half and remove the seeds. Cut into long thin strips.
- Take a large ceramic or plastic bowl, scoop the rice into the bowl and pour the rice vinegar on top, stirring gently with a wooden spoon.
- Cover the bamboo sushi rolling mat with cling film.
- In a bowl, beat 3 to 4 tablespoons of cream cheese. Take a sandwich bag (or, if you have it, a plastic piping bag) and scoop the cream cheese into it. Cut off a small tip so that we can easily pipe the cream cheese onto the sushi.
- Place a nori sheet with the shiny side down on the rolling mat. Spread some sushi rice on the sheet but leave a 2 cm at the top so that you can stick it on right away.
- Place a strip of cucumber on the rice and draw a stripe of cream cheese along it. Spread some salmon, and carrot and then carefully roll up the roll.
- Cut the roll into 6 equal parts and serve with some sesame seeds, soy sauce or some extra Sriracha sauce.
- Delicious bites!
