Indian curry spiced paneer satay

Estimated reading time: 3 minutes

Delicious Happen goes along with the less meat and more vegetarian food. And if we do, it must of course be tasty. And this Indian curry spiced paneer satay certainly is! For the people who think hey paneer that's what you use for a crispy layer, it's not. That's breadcrumbs, paneer is a kind of cheese. This word is a derivative of the Persian word panīr, which means cheese. This cheese is completely vegetarian because no animal rennet is used. A paneer satay, satay recipe to get started!

The use of vinegar or lemon juice causes the whole milk to curdle. The advantage of this cheese is that it is firm and does not melt when you grill it. Ideal for making these tasty satays. I don't really think the cheese itself has much taste. You will really have to add that yourself, just like with tofu. A paneer satay, get to work!

Indian curry spiced paneer satay

I made this paneer satay with paneer bought at Crisp. They have a very extensive range of cheese, which I, as a cheese lover, can indulge myself in. I myself am getting more and more used to hitting spicy food. This is due to the use of coconut milk in the curry paste, which gives it a fairly mild taste. As for the sauces you could dip this satay in, you can go in all directions with that. For example, you can choose a peanut sauce, a chili sauce or a sweet and sour sauce.

A fine garlic dip goes perfectly with this satay, but regular satay sauce is also possible.

A fine garlic sauce, a classic satay sauce but also, for example, a soy sauce. Let your imagination run wild and have fun with it.
