And this is how you make the chicken drumsticks with beer and rosemary from the oven:
-First take a measuring cup and put all the ingredients for the marinade in it. Stir it all together. Then take a bowl and put the chicken drumsticks in it. Pour over the marinade and rub well over the chicken. Cover them with cling film and put them in the fridge overnight to marinate.
-The next day when you start cooking, take the chicken out of the fridge half an hour to an hour in advance so that the chicken comes to room temperature.
-In the meantime, chop the onion and finely chop the two garlic cloves. Keep until you cook the chicken.
- Take a heavy-bottomed frying pan and add some olive oil. Then fry the chicken drumsticks until they are nicely browned. Add the onion and garlic and sauté for two minutes. Deglaze with the beer and add the sprigs of rosemary.
- Then place the legs in a clean oven dish and pour the beer/onion/garlic mix over the drumsticks and put them in the oven at 200 degrees and let them bake for another 30/35 minutes until they are completely cooked.
