Sometimes it's best to be easy! Here too I sometimes run out of time and I just have to have a meal on the table quickly. I ducked into my pantry and vegetable drawer in my fridge for this chicken thigh tikka masala with salsa. So I got a jar of tikka masala from the pantry and those delicious crunchy papadums. In the fridge I found a mango and avocado which fits perfectly with this tikka masala dish. Now I don't like very spicy food and that is often a curry! So I didn't use too much from the jar and with a little coconut milk you can easily make it a bit softer in taste. Chicken tikka masala recipe
Chicken thigh tikka masala with salsa
The tikka masala in a British Indian dish. It is the most popular curry in the UK. Of course, there is still plenty to speculate about its origin. Because who was the first to make it? Is it a derivative of the butter chicken served in Delhi? Or because a Brit in Glasgow thought his chicken was too dry and the chef served it with tomato sauce. Anyway it said, the sauce is from the well-known brand Patak's.
A very well known British brand that marketed Indian food. There is absolutely no shame in opening a jar every now and then. We can quickly sit down at the table with this chicken thigh tikka masala with salsa.
Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the dish below.
