Classic Italian Negroni cocktail

The Classic Italian Negroni cocktail comes from Florence. But there is also a Dutch version called the “Dutch Negroni”. The gin is replaced by Jenever. The Negroni consists of equal parts, so you pour the same amount of each type of drink into the glass. It is best to use a “jigger” for that. You need:

tumbler glasses
cocktail spoon

  • 60 ml gin
  • 60 ml Campari
  • 60 ml Vermouth
  • 1 orange

Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.

And this is how you make it:

  • Cut a nice figure from the peel of the orange. You don't have to, of course, but it does give your drink that little bit extra.
  • Put some ice in two tumbler glasses and then pour 30 ml gin, 30 ml vermouth and 30 ml campari into each glass and stir with a cocktail spoon. Squeeze the zest of the orange slightly, then add the decoration to the glass and serve.
  • Cheers!
