Good food, healthy foodIt doesn't always have to be very complicated. Simple ingredients, some basic spices such as chili flakes, pepper, salt and garlic powder and you're done! This low carb shrimp poké bowl is made with cauliflower rice. This allows you to eat an extra large amount of vegetables without noticing it. We always have a big bag of shrimp in the freezer here at home. Always handy for a quick meal like this. For the best quality I go to the wholesaler myself, but you can also buy them from your fishmonger. Unfortunately, I find the ones from the supermarket really too small and not good enough quality. low carb poke bowl
Low-carb shrimp poke bowl
As I mentioned before, with the basic spices you can already give a delicious taste to your dish. You can of course also experiment with other spice mixes, such as 5-spices or ras el hanout, depending on what you're craving. I always finish a low-carb shrimp poké bowl with a dash of soy sauce or sweet soy sauce. These are also simple ingredients that enhance the taste of your dish and that most people have in their kitchen cupboard.
This dish is also ideal for using up leftovers from your fridge. Do you still have vegetables that are almost expired? Or do you not have any shrimps at home, but you do have another type of fish or tuna? Then you can also use it for this bowl. It doesn't really matter what you put in it as long as it tastes good.
Here you will find the complete recipe with all the ingredients you need. I hope you have fun preparing the dish below.
