Gourmet tips: making skewers
An easy way to fry vegetables on the stovetop is to make vegetable skewers. You can cut different pieces of vegetables into small pieces and turn them into skewers. You can use absolutely anything in these skewers. Peppers, onions, broccoli, mushrooms, carrots, zucchini, and so on. If necessary, pre-cook the broccoli and other hard vegetables such as cauliflower.
Blanch them in hot water for a few minutes. This way you don't put them raw on the plate, but you bake them nice and soft after a few minutes and they still remain a bit crunchy.
You can do a nice healthy gourmet with mini vegetables
You have probably seen in the supermarket that you actually have small varieties of everything. Little carrots, little corn on the cob, little zucchini, and so on. Get all kinds of different small vegetables and place them on the plate. Besides being very cute, it also tastes good and looks nice.
Tasty healthy salads and dips
When you think of salads, do you also think of a bowl full of lettuce and other bland flavors? That doesn't have to be the case at all! You can easily make all kinds of different salads that are very tasty. And also very healthy! How about a salad with pasta and sun-dried tomatoes, a couscous salad or a salad with chicken and pesto? These are all healthy options that go well with an evening of gourmet. A lot less boring than the standard salad with bell pepper and cucumber.
Not just vegetables!
If you want to have a healthy gourmet meal, you really don't just have to think about vegetables and fruit. You can also just buy meat that is nice and light and healthy. Chicken, for example, is really not unhealthy and you can eat it just fine. Look up the nutritional value of the different meats online, and see which types of meat you want to buy. You can order turkey, for example, in addition to chicken, since this is also lean meat.
