We are almost approaching the 3 month mark since I last drank alcohol. Dry January but a little longer, and this time I actually think I'll stop drinking completely. At least alcohol that is, I don't have alcohol in the house anymore and I don't miss it at all. Certainly not if you can make these types of drinks yourself, drinks like this Limonzero lime syrup mocktail are so shaken! Fortunately, more and more in the catering industry, where I now see a catch-up in serving 0,0% drinks. The range is still fairly limited, but this will increase in the coming years.
Limonzero lime syrup mocktail
We make this Limonzero lime syrup mocktail with Limoncello, but the 0,0% version. Logically, if you want to drink alcohol, you can use it. This fresh mocktail has a delicious foam layer and by adding extra lime juice the drink is not too sweet! Take a look at your liquor store for the various non-alcoholic spirits for sale there, or else go online.

Ingredients:
- 90 ml Limonzero - (non-alcoholic Limoncello)
- 2 limes - squeezed
- 1 el lime syrup
- 1 protein
- 75 ml Spa red
Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.
And this is how you make it:
- Squeeze the limes.
- Place the juice and the rest of the ingredients in a shaker and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
- Add some ice cubes and shake vigorously again.
- Pour the mocktail into the glasses and serve.
