Recently I shared the recipe for chaflles, um what? A chaffle is a wafer made of cheese. In English cheese is of course cheese, hence instead of waffle these delicacies are called “chaffles”. These are low carb and even gluten free because almond flour is used to make them. And for all the cheesy-lovers among us, there can never be enough cheese, so why not a low carb triple cheeseburger?! A visit to the Mac has become superfluous. Another big advantage of building a vehicle like this is that you can decide for yourself what you put extra on it and how you grill your burgers. Ingredients:
- 300 gr half and half chopped
- minced meat seasoning
- 1 ui - white shredded
- 4 pickles
- cucumber - in slices
- iceberg lettuce
- 6 to stick cheddar cheese
For the "chaffles"
- 2 el almond flour
- 50 gr gruyere cheese grated
- 50 gr grated cheddar
- 50 gr grated mozzarella
- 1 tl baking powder
- 2 eggs
Nice and easy: click on the logo of your favorite supermarket to add the ingredients.
And this is how you make it:
- Cut the lettuce, cucumber, and gherkins, chop the onion and keep everything until use.
- Heat both the grill and the waffle iron.
- Whisk together the sauce ingredients.
- Mix the minced meat with the herbs, you can actually use any kind of herbs that you like. Make 6 equal burgers.
- Mix the batter for the waffles and divide the batter into four. You can make four small waffles from this amount.
- Grill the burgers and bake the waffles.
- Finally, place the slices of cheddar on the burger so that the cheese can melt for a while.
- Now build your burger and put the chopped onion, pickle and cucumber in between.
