My experience with Kickstart your fat burning
The infamous holiday kilos…. Well I had a few too many and I wanted to get rid of them! Even before the holidays I received her program via email from Liesbeth Booij. And so I was able to read a bit about what to expect during the holidays. The meal plan you get is a weekly menu. All recipes can be found on Liesbeth's site and in principle you can get started with them. Well I did that in good spirits so read here my experience with kickstart your fat burning.

Introducing you: Liesbeth and I have known each other for about a year now and we follow each other on Instagram. I once met her at a Foodie event and we clicked right away. She is a very sweet and open woman with good energy around her. Liesbeth is married and lives in The Hague with her husband and cute son Joris. Her background is a lawyer but she decided to follow her heart and become a nutritionist and sports fasting coach. She has several programs that you can follow with her and you can be coached by her. She also works with top athletes! All in all a lady who knows how to have a healthy lifestyle.
The "rules" of the kickstart week
A number of rules have been drawn up for this week so that you have a good grip and of course achieve maximum results. I'll list a few for you here:
- Eat all your food in 8-10 hours
- Move sober for 30 minutes every day
- Drink 2 liters of water every day

The fixed time frame of 8-10 hours is a form of intermittent fasting. For me that meant no more food after eight o'clock in the evening. That in itself was not very difficult because we usually eat the evening meal around 19:00. And furthermore, it fit perfectly into our rhythm with breakfast/lunch/dinner. I tackled the sober exercise or sports in the morning by taking a brisk walk with Lilly in the morning. Lilly is our beagle and she had no problem with an extra long walk in the morning!
My experience with Kickstart your fat burning: Drink water
Drinking water has been a problem for me all my life. I often forget to drink and I just don't like water very much. To get it done, I just filled a big bottle and that way you can see exactly how much you still need. Drinking with separate glasses from the tap, you can't really see exactly how much you have consumed.
Liesbeth also indicates that you can just drink coffee or tea, so I started drinking a lot of green tea. You can also have a glass of spa red and for me that was the best replacement for my can of Diet Coke!
The recipes

The meal plan is Monday through Friday. In the schedule she indicates exactly what is expected of you during the weekend and what you may still allow yourself as a bonus. All recipes are located in a link that you will receive as soon as you have registered yourself. And I can tell you they are all fun and easy recipes. No difficult hassle with all kinds of ingredients that you have to get everywhere and nowhere. So you can do all your shopping in one go, then you don't have to go to the supermarket anymore and you are not tempted to buy other things that you do not need this week.

Results
The most exciting thing, of course, was whether it would really kick-start. I didn't do a fat measurement before I started this week and I personally also think that a week is too little to see really big results. I did lose 2,5 pounds this week! And that, in my opinion, is a really nice result. Liesbeth also asked me if I felt much fitter after this week. I personally think that a week is just a little too short for that to immediately feel a lot of difference. I did not miss sugar and sweets! You are so busy making healthy choices and focusing on getting a good result that I didn't think of that! Also I have not been hungry or felt “empty” and I really like that, because that is where the snack moments are lurking!
